AL-Bayda is a nice, pleasant town and we are told that this is the coldest area in Libya and is famous for "shmari", a very sweet berry and the season is in November.
Cyrene is Libya’s most complete ancient Greek city.
Susa is a small town and gateway to Apollonia, the former port for Cyrene.
Apollonia, one of the top 5 ancient cities in Libya, with a wealth of Roman, Greek and Byzantine buildings.
