No water from tap again in the morning and this time happened before we can brush our teeth. So we took water from the distilled drinking water dispenser to finish our morning routines. The big truck with the water tank came again and you know what is next already.
Aminah prepared Markota for lunch. If you forget what is Markota, refer to the picture posted last Saturday, 29th Dec. Aminah said Libyans like to have Markota in Winter because it helps to keep you warm.
I told Dawood today that I want to go to maids agency in Benghazi to source for a full time maid for our villa. I sounded a bit frustrated because it has been a week without cleaner for the house as the cleaner has stopped working since New Year Day.
So I asked Dawood to bring me around to shop for stationeries and groceries. I have learned to seize every opportunity to shop for things whenever I am in town to stock up supplies in the office and kitchen nowadays.
I am disappointed that there is no maid available after returned to the agency. Dawood told me that while it is very easy to find one if we are staying in Benghazi, it is extremely tough to get one to stay in Al Marj because it is too far from Benghazi. Nevertheless, he drove to ask around for maids agency contacts and managed to get another one that promised to look for us in 2 days time.
We went to a place for seafood dinner. The fishes looked very fresh and Dawood said they are all catch of the day. Nice dinner. We continued with groceries shopping before we call for a day.
