We arrived in Tripoli airport around 1.45pm today.  We were the first Singaporeans from our company going Libya with the new arabic translation on our passports.  The custom officers checked through our visa and translations carefully and we passed the test, phew!

The next 2 hours were terrrible, we searched high and low for our last piece of baggage and finally Kelvin spotted it at one corner, somebody must have taken it and just threw it aside.  Our colleagues were already waiting for us patiently to pick us up.  They told us that one of them who arrived few days ago lost his luggage, so we were lucky to retrieve all and in good condition.

We will be taking the domestic flight to Benghazi at 10pm tomorrow as that was the only flight available the next day due to the long holidays. The Libyans has started their Haji holidays today and the holidays will last through till Saturday!

We were shivering when we showered in the evening.  Only realised later that it was only 3 degrees, we were then told that they only shower in the noon but not morning or night due to the cold weather.  There was a power failure last week and one of them told us he almost frozen to ice at night.
