What is life without internet connection, TV entertainment and telephone? After a mad rush of packing and moving house to prepare for our relocation, we cannot enter Libya now! The Libyan government require all western passport details to be translated in arabic and this has apparently posed some international tension in people going to Libya now.
We have moved away our TV, cut off our broadband connection and telephone line on the day that we were supposed to fly last week and our plans were put on hold suddenly when we heard about this.
However, this gave us a chance to experience the goodness in life when things are back to basic. We enjoyed the serenity of the house, no more the urge to on the TV, log on internet to check emails and no more calls (though we are still reachable by our mobile). We can go to bed before 10pm and enjoyed a good 8 hours sleep and wake up afresh in the morning.
Life is great when things are simple.
