I am excited today as we finally can go to Benghazi!  Benghazi is the second largest city in Libya, an hour drive away from our villa.

The road to Benghazi was scenic and we quickly made stops to capture the beautiful sights along the way.

I am so happy that I met a lady engineer, Abir at the Fekri’s office in Benghazi.  Fekri is Fouad’s brother and runs a tour agency in Benghazi. Uhmm, we will know who to look for in our next trip.  

Kelvin and Foo went to the bank and source for photocopiers, furnitures, Abir and I went shopping and I didn’t expect I can shop so much in just one lane in Benghazi.  But I am disappointed when Abir told me that are only a few of such shopping lanes in Benghazi.  We had some local delights for snacks.

Lunch was at a seafood restaurant and the fish meal was delicious!

We continued our shopping spree after lunch, but not for myself this time.  We shopped for kitchenware, bedlinen, toiletries for the team.

The day was ended late and we were backed to the villa at 9pm.  We were tired and decided to just have some sandwiches for dinner.
